«YGIA» Polyclinic in collaboration with Dr. Mahid Kalani, MD, PhD, Invasive Cardiologist – Director of the Heart Catheterization Centre at Danderyd Hospital in Stockholm, Associate Professor at Karolinska Institute in Sweeden and Senior Lecturer at the Peninsula College of Medicine in the U.K. – and the Karolinska Institute – a Nobel awarding academic institution – has launched since the 16th of June 2011 the successful operation of a modern hemodynamic cardiac centre.

Our heart centre is equipped with the most modern medical equipment (Siemens) in order to provide the safest medical care to our patients, which includes among other, the immediate diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular cases, reducing thus the likelihood and need for less secure and complex treatments, such as an open heart surgery (CABG).

Our Heart Catheterization centre provides emergency services, serving patients and Physicians around the clock, 365 days per year, especially to those imposed to urgent angioplasty.
