The Board of Directors and the Management Team of YGIA Polyclinic Private Hospital, as part of the constant development for the high quality healthcare services that are provided, announces the launch of the Cardiosurgery Department.

The decision on implementation of the new department is based on the continuation of the successful operation of the Heart Catheterisation Department, which is functioning since 2011 and the Heart Electrophysiology Laboratory from 2015.

The establishment of the Cardiosurgery Department has been achieved in collaboration with the prominent heart surgeons Dr. Nozohoor Shahab and Dr. Johan Sjogren and their team who transferred the knowledge and experience of the specialised Cardiosurgery Center in Lunden in Sweden with the collaboration of our Associate doctors.

The Department is fully equipped with state of the art equipment and highly trained personnel.

Successful surgeries have been already carried out and patients are undergoing rehabilitation stage.

With the operation of this department access is given to comprehensive and high quality healthcare services for patients with heart problems not only in Limassol but also on a geographical regional basis.
