In our Hospital has been operating for five years a medical oncology department. The department is staffed with highly trained nursing staff in the preparation and handling of cytotoxic drugs. Drugs are being prepared in a specially designed space equipped with a latter type AMER CARE isolator, in order to ensure the quality and safety of the staff and patients. All internationally approved cancer treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy with monoclonal antibodies, etc. for all types of solid tumours can be administered. The department also offers respite and palliative care to patients who need it as well as psychological support.
