Dr Neophytos Zambas

Dr. Zambas specializes in Vascular Surgery since 2010, having completed his medical degree at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.), Greece in 2002. He pursued his specialization in Vascular Surgery at the Hippokration Hospital of Thessaloniki, 5th Surgical Clinic of A.U.Th. (2002-2005 + 2008-2010), and furthered his training at Imperial NHS Trust in London (2005-2008). He successfully defended his doctoral thesis at A.U.Th. in 2010 with distinction.

Dr. Zambas holds certifications including Specialty in Vascular Surgery from Aristotle University, Greece, and a Doctoral Dissertation in Vascular Surgery from the same institution. He is certified in ATLS and is a member of the European Society of Vascular Surgery. Additionally, he serves as Secretary of the Cyprus Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery (CSVES) and represents CSVES at the European Union of Medical Specialists (U.E.M.S.) in Vascular Surgery and the European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS).

His academic interests include Aortic Aneurysms, Carotid Disease, Venous Thrombosis, Varicose Veins - Venous Insufficiency, Lymphedema, Endovascular Surgery, and Genetic Therapy for Arterial Disease.
