Dr Georgios Papadopoulos

Dr Georgios Papadopoulos graduated from the Medical School of the Democritus University of Thrace, Alexandroupoli, Greece. He completed his specialization in 2016 at the 1st Neurology Clinic of Eginitio University Hospital, Athens, Greece. From 2017 onward, he worked as a consultant neurologist at the Neurology Department and at the Stroke Unit of Mediterraneo Hospital, Athens, Greece. He has taken part in various international multicenter studies on patients with Parkinson’s disease or dementia.

His main clinical interests involve stroke and neurodegenerative disorders, such as dementia and extrapyramidal syndromes. In the field of neurophysiology, he specialises in analysing electroencephalograms and performing electromyography and visual evoked potential tests.

Dr Papadopoulos is an inhouse doctor of YGIA Polyclinic and is registered under GHS. (GeSY)
