Dr Elias Petrovich

Dr. Petrovich received his Honours Diploma in Medicine from Odessa Medical Institute in 1973, followed by an internship in General Surgery in 1974, achieving the rank of General Surgeon of the 3rd rank. He was promoted to General Surgeon of the 2nd rank in 1979 and attained the rank of General Surgeon in Cyprus in 1980. He joined the Cyprus Surgical Association in 1987 and became a General Surgeon of Superior rank in 1988. He pursued further training in General Surgery in Toronto and Ontario, Proctology in Odessa, Gastrointestinal Surgery in Odessa, Laparoscopic Surgery in Larnaca, and participated in numerous surgical congresses and symposia globally. His professional experience includes serving as an Intern General Surgeon at Odessa Emergency City Hospital No. 1, a General Surgeon at Velico Mihailovca Regional Hospital and Odessa Emergency City Hospital No. 1, and as a Surgeon Proctologist at Odessa City Hospital No. 10. In Cyprus, he worked at Limassol Private Clinic and Petrovich Medical Center and has been practicing as a General Surgeon at Petrovich Medical Center and “YGIA” Private Hospital since 1994, continuing his practice under GESY since 2019. He is a member of several prestigious surgical associations, including the USA Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, the International Association of Hepatic Surgeons, and the Russian Association of Endoscopic Surgeons.
