Dr Ioannis Hadjiloukas

Dr. Hatziloukas graduated from the University of Manchester Medical School in the United Kingdom in 1992. He specialized in General Surgery in the UK and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1996. Concurrently, he worked as a Researcher at the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Manchester, focusing on molecular biology and oncology, and was awarded the degree of Master of Philosophy (MPhil) for his research. Dr. Hatziloukas further specialized in Colorectal Surgery and Laparoscopic Surgery. He served as a Consultant Surgeon and Director of the Surgical Unit at Macclesfield District General Hospital from May 2007 to August 2011, after which he returned to Cyprus. 

He is a member of: 

• Royal College of Surgeons of England & Ireland
• the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland
• the British Association of Surgical Oncology
• the Manchester Medical Society.
