Dr Stella Charalambous

Dr. Charalambous graduated with honors from Laniteio High School in Limassol in 1990, excelling in Chemistry, Biology, and Academic Achievement. She achieved the highest score in the entrance exams for medical schools in Greece and graduated with honors from the Medical School of People's Friendship University of Russia in 1997. In 2002, she earned her doctoral degree in Surgery. From 2003 to 2017, she worked as a Consultant General Surgeon in various hospitals in Cyprus, specializing in Breast Surgery, Thyroid Surgery, and Trauma. She completed an observation with a Fulbright scholarship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and further training in the United Kingdom. She also served as Honorary Assistant Professor at the University of London Medical School at the University of Nicosia.

Since September 2017, Dr. Charalambous has been practicing private medicine as a Consultant in General/Breast Surgery, focusing on ultrasound-guided biopsies and oncologic surgery. She consults for the Cyprus National Health System (GHS) and collaborates with the European University of Cyprus. She is a member of the European School of Oncology and has completed advanced courses in breast disease management, trauma support, and surgical techniques from globally recognized institutions.
