Dr Xaris Varnava

From May 2019 to December 2023, Dr. Varnava served as a Consultant at the Clinic for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Fachklinik Hornheide and the Section for Plastic Surgery in the Clinic for Trauma, Hand, and Reconstructive Surgery at University Hospital Muenster, Germany, under Univ.-Prof. Dr. med. Tobias Hirsch. He achieved board certification in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery in October 2021 (Medical Association Westfalen-Lippe). Between March 2018 and April 2019, he worked as a physician in the same departments. He was board-certified in General Surgery in October 2017 (Medical Association Westfalen-Lippe).

From May 2016 to February 2018, he was a medical resident at Fachklinik Hornheide. Prior to that, he was a medical resident in General, Visceral, and Vascular Surgery at Agaplesion Bethesda Hospital in Wuppertal from September 2011 to April 2016. He obtained his medical license in July 2011 (Duesseldorf, Germany) after completing German language studies from November 2010 to April 2011. He earned a degree in Human Medicine with a grade of "very good" from Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece, in October 2010. He completed his military service in the Cypriot National Guard from August 2002 to September 2004.
