Dr Chrysostomos Mavroude
I hold a Medical Diploma from the University of Patras, Greece (1994-2000), and an MRCP (UK) from July 2007. I received academic scholarships for outstanding achievements during my second and third years. My career aim is to continue in interventional cardiology. Currently, I am a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at London Cardiac Clinic and Blue Cross Hospital in Cyprus, and an Honorary Lecturer in Cardiology at the University of Cyprus. I previously served as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist (2014-2019). My registrar roles included Research Clinical Fellow in Interventional Cardiology (2008-2014) and Senior Clinical Fellow in Cardiology at Royal Free Hospital (2008-2010). My senior SHO posts were in Medicine – Cardiology at Queen Mary’s Hospital (2007-2008), General Medicine – Cardiology at James Paget Hospital (2006-2007), Cardiology at Brighton and Sussex Hospitals (2006), and Junior Trainee in Cardiology at University Hospital of North Staffordshire (2005-2006).
As a Senior House Officer, I worked in General Medicine at Nimts Hospital, Athens (2002-2004) and Limassol General Hospital, Cyprus (2002). I also held Clinical Fellow posts in Internal Medicine at Limassol General Hospital (2001-2002). During my pre-registration, I worked in the Surgical Department at Limassol General Hospital (2001) and Internal Medicine at Paphos General Hospital, Cyprus (2000-2001).
