The "1000 First Days" Assembly Organised by YGIA Polyclinic Met the Greatest Success

"The 1000 First Days" Assembly, organised by YGIA Polyclinic on Saturday 12th of October 2019 at TEPAK University, Tasos Papadopoulos Building, met the greatest success.  The Assembly was organised within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility and the Hospital’s “Baby Friendly Initiative”.

The Assembly described the journey from the baby’s inception all the way up to the 2nd year of the child’s life, attracting thus the interest of Occupational Health Professionals, Paediatricians, Obstetricians, Nurses, Midwifes, as well as new and future parents, pregnant women, grandmothers, grandfathers and academics.

Greeting were given on behalf of the Ministry of Health by Dr. Maria Agathokleous, Director of the Paediatric Wing at the Limassol General Hospital, on behalf of the Medical Association of Limassol the President Dr. Marios Karaiskakis, on behalf of the Cyprus Paediatric Society the Secretary Dr. Michalis Anastasiades, on behalf of the Scientific Council of YGIA Polyclinic Dr. Ntia Argyropoulou, on behalf of TEPAK  the Associate Professor Health Research Methodology & Biostatistics Dean, Health Sciences, Director of Doctoral Programme Dr Nicos Midletton, on behalf of the Board of Directors the President Dr. Yiannis Hadjiloucas, and the President of the Assembly’s Organising Committee Dr. Maro Solomou.

The distinguished speakers explained through their presentations the importance of the first 100 days of the child’s life, elaborating in numerous and very interesting topics:

"The 1000 First Days" Assembly is yet another indication that YGIA Polyclinic is always carrying out its operations with respect towards the society and devotion to the mother and child.
