Ygia participated in the 32nd Conference on “Corporate Volunteering and NGO Support”

The 32nd Conference on “Corporate Volunteering and NGO Support” was successfully held, organized by the Pancyprian Coordinating Council for Volunteering. The Marketing Director of YGIA, Marianna Fortoma, participated as a speaker, representing CSR Cyprus in her capacity as a Board Member of the Association.

Ms. Fortoma presented the Association and spoke about Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), emphasizing the importance of strategic planning for the integration of CSR initiatives, the crucial role of leadership commitment in designing and implementing CSR actions, as well as the multiple benefits such initiatives bring to all stakeholders involved.

The event was addressed by the President of the Coordinating Council for Volunteering, Mr. Dimitriou; the President of the Larnaca District Volunteer Coordinating Council, Mr. Sergiou; the Deputy Mayor of Larnaca, Mr. Iasonides; a representative of the Bishop of Kition; and a representative of the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare. In addition, Ms. Ioanna Panayiotou, former Commissioner for the Environment, spoke about the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability.

Furthermore, company representatives shared their perspectives on the significance of CSR.
