Dr Anna Aiginitou

Dr. Anna Aiginitou is an Intensivist and Pulmonologist with extensive experience in the management of critically ill patients, respiratory failure, and modern intensive care medicine. She has comprehensive expertise in mechanical ventilation and has received specialized training in ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) at Royal Papworth Hospital, Cambridge, United Kingdom.

She maintains an active scientific and educational presence through participation in both international and national conferences, scientific publications, and continuous academic development. In addition, she is a certified instructor for ALS (Advanced Life Support), ILS (Immediate Life Support), and BLS (Basic Life Support) courses of the European Resuscitation Council (ERC), and is responsible for performing percutaneous tracheostomies.

Dr. Aiginitou has extensive experience working in Intensive Care Units in both Greece and Cyprus. She currently serves as an inhouse doctor and Deputy Director of the Intensive Care Unit at YGIA Polyclinic.
