The Cyprus Hand and Microsurgery Unit is based at YGIA Polyclinic in Limassol and is the leading purpose built facility on the island, able to offer patients a comprehensive and professional service backed by world class specialists.

Microsurgery is a specialized surgical technique which requires many years of training to attain the necessary expertise.  Powerful microscopes and specialist equipment are used, which allow the delicate examination and repair of structures such as arteries and nerves, normally invisible to the naked eye.

Services focus on the management and treatment of abnormal structures of the body as a result of a variety of underlying causes, including tumors, disease and trauma.  Our Unit also has a reputation for excellence in the treatment and management of non healing wounds.

There is 24 hour medical cover, with specialist on call to assess and perform emergency surgery.
