YGIA Polyclinic Shortlisted for the Quality Improvement Award

Working with the CHKS Accreditation Programme gave YGIA Polyclinic the opportunity to apply for the Quality Improvement Award, by stressing the most significant improvements made in the organisation relative to the following key factors:

1. Patient safety
2. Patient experience and clinical care
3. Staff welfare, safety and morale

YGIA Polyclinic has been shortlisted for the CHKS Quality Improvement Award by the CHKS Accreditation Awards Panel, and has been nominated amongst five other hospitals. The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony on the 30th April 2013.

The CHKS Top Hospital Awards is an event where healthcare providers in the UK and Internationally are acknowledged for their efforts in innovation, improvement and dedication to provision of healthcare in a qualitative perspective.

Being shortlisted for the Quality Improvement Award is an honour for YGIA Polyclinic and this provides the recognition for all employees involved in this ongoing quest of quality improvement, which inevitably improves safety and welfare for all parties involved, including patients and employees.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone involved and just wish to repeat once again that the journey never ends, as we will continue improving and moving to the next level.
